Cat tree
We have one cat that loves to be as high up as she can get. We have another that loves to scratch the carpet off of the cat tree. Once we are stopped and the slide is out, there's plenty of room for a cat tree. When we are buttoned down and driving, not so much! Where do others put a cat tree?

I'm going to assume it won't fit in the basement. If you are crafty you can custom build a fine cat tree using a "jonny pole" (callapsible pole with spring loaded telescopic length adjustment often found in bathrooms for towel hanging) Let me know if you need instructions.

FixerCQI,
We travel with 3 rescue cats. Two came to us with no front claws, but our newest just wandered up and adopted us and has all his littler rapiers intact. He is also a "tree dweller" so I would love to have your instructions. Thanks.

I take all seven cats with me. Have a short scratchimg post that's only about seat high. That works for all of mine. Here's four of them.

We just lay it down on the floor between the slides. Our cat travels in her travel container. We don't plan our driving more than 3-4 hours a day.

hi Floridafran; First you need to find a Jonny Pole that can adjust to fit the floor to ceiling height of the MoHo. Then buy a 6 foot piece of 3 or 4 inch ABS black drain pipe at Homedepot, and cut it into three equal lengths. Glue union joints onto 2 of the pieces with ABS glue, or use a couple of wood screws. You can wrap the pieces with carpet or jute rope and hot melt glue it in place. Then cut 2 pieces of 1 foot x 2 foot, 1/2 or 3/4 inch ply or particle or aspenite and cut a hole in one end of each, large enough to allow it to slide over the pipe but not the union. Drop the first pipe over the Jonny Pole, with a union facing up, and then fit the next piece of pipe with a union to the first, placing one of the platforms over the bottom end of the second pipe before it slides into the union on the first. Same for the next pipe and platform. Carpet the platforms and adjust the length of the pole to make a tight fit between floor and ceiling in the MoHo, and Bob's yer uncle. The disassembled unit lays quite flat and takes up little space in storage.

The four in the picture are Japanese Bobtails and they are usually mostly white with red or black or maybe all three colors ( Mei-Kei). The JBT's are considered rare here in the US. Last I heard there were only about 24 breeders registered in the US.
One of the others is a Himalyan, another is a big red pointed part Forest cat so very large. The last is a little grey 14 yr old rescue from the Humane Soc.

We have two fur babies who travel with us. A scratch post about 2' high works well for them.

Thanks, FixerCQI, hope I can get this done before we leave on the 18th. If not, I'm saving the instructions to do it after we get back.

I would love to have instructions as well. I am worried about the 2 kitties getting behind slides while we are traveling. thought about trying to find a cage that would go around the cat tree that would fold away after we are stopped.
Thanks Dar 38 ft Newmar Canyon Star

I'd second that dar9696. Does it close up to contain the cats?
