I think our cats have tried to get into every cubby hole in the camper.
If its open they are going to try and get in or at least see whats in there. Almost lost one up under the dash, literally, he almost hung himself when his collar got caught on a screw.
We had to stuff pillows in the space above the bed because our cats would jump out in the middle of the night right on top of you. That hurts when a 20 lb cats hits your tummy

Talk about Cat's curiosity. My DW left a drawer open in the cupboards. Our Tabby climbed behind the drawer in a very very small space. My wife did not know this and closed the drawer. After a half hour we began looking for her. 7 hours later with the whole resort out with flash lights looking for her, she made a slight meow. My wife opened the drawer and there she stood. She could not lay down, not enough room. However, she was none the less put out by the experience. If there is a way, a cat will find it. We were sure glad to find her; as we were in alligator country and it was dark.

We have a cat that likes to hide. We put a fob on her collar (the kind you would use to find your keys ect.) that beeps when the locator control button is pushed. Now we can find her without the panic that she might have gotten out of the RV. Patty purchased it from Sharper Image.

Tom,
Sounds like a good device to put on our Blackie.
Did you ever try to find a black cat at night?
Our Blackie jumped out of the camper last year at WDW while we were setting up in the dark. She ran over into the bushes and you couldn't see her even with a flashlight.
What is the range of that device?
Thanks,
Ron

Here is the link to the item Patty purchased. Patty say's the range is 30 feet. The fob beeps and has a flashing light...good for the dark . The fob is about the size of a car key fob. Abby wears a harness, and we attached it to the top of her harness.
PS She puts one on me when we are in a campground . She never knows who I might talk to, or when I might wander off . Good thing it is range is only 30 feet, if I run real fast.........

Tom & Patty: Another thanks for posting the link. We are going to look into it, especially since Suzzie likes to climb up under the dash and sleep.

We have a saying..."Open door-insert cat". He can be sound to sleep on the dash and I'm at the back of the coach. Open a door and he's awake, on my shoulders and climbing in.
Cute photos.

Sue,
Cats are such fun people
All three of our cats are curious but our Blackie takes the prize. You can't do anything, and I do mean anything, without Blackie sticking her nose in it.
If someone knocks on the door or rings the doorbell she comes running to see who is there.
Thanks,
Ron
