Dog Has To Hold Hand While Riding
This would not work in my RV. And I thought Miya, our Husky, had issues.

Thanks Wayne! My Husky also has her issues and loves to hold hands if you're just sitting around. It wouldn't work in our car or the MH.

Not much different than Miya's desire to lean on you.

It is the only time I can get Miya to pretend she wants to be close is when we are in the car, so I let her lean. As you know she'll do anything for food. She is 82.2 pounds as of last week's vet check. I need to put myself on a diet and maybe she'll go on one. But then, you know what Earlene's cooking is like.

The frequent yawning makes me think maybe the dog is a tad stressed out by car riding.

My favorite place for Sunday dinner.
I tried to describe the salad Earlene made the last Sunday I was there but it was impossible to do it justice.

Our adopted dog, Berlyn, has the same habit whenever we sit next to her....always needs to have a paw on us.

Remember, she took pictures?
I'll post it as soon as I download from the camera, just so you'll be able to drool a little more.

Yep!!! I have an Australian Shepard who will literally jump into my lap if I sit on the floor. He would do this in the MH while I'm driving if I let him.
I believe that it is a security thing - they love and trust you. That's not so bad.

No matter how well-behaved you think your dog is, it is both impolite and dangerous to other campers NOT to have your dog somehow under your control at all times.
