Handful of Peanut Butter!!
As we are traveling with our four mutts, BTW all rescues, we enjoy taking them for a walk and as part of that, picking up after them. It has become such a habit that the motions are muscle memory. Dog deposits poop, take bag from bag roll, insert hand inside bag, pickup poop and tie end shut. Done it thousands of times.
Well imagine, my surprise when I COMPLETED the "pickup" step only to find that the manufacture failed miserably in heat sealing the closed end of the doggy bag! I had a handful of warm "peanut butter" and an bag open at both ends over my hand. The next three bags in the roll were the same. It wasn't until the fourth bag in the roll was sealed.
That smell does not go away!

I feel your pain...or rather....I smell the smell. This has happened to me a couple of times...took twice for me to make sure the bags are sealed...and I check every time!!
Felt like dipping my hand in bleach!
Thanks for the laugh...takes one to know one

We ended up using the sandwich bags with the fold over flap closure. Put them on like a glove and picked up the poop. Worked well for us.

Ha, that's why I started long ago double checking each bag before I dig in

I always say you know you love your dog when you walk around with 1/2 lb of their poop in your hand
