For all of you way down South enjoying the somewhat warm weather with your pets, here's what it looks like up here in the Northeast.

Do any of your dog's have issues, like being afraid of kids or actual traveling anxiety? Do they get along with other dogs all the time? How about fireworks?

We have have a golden lab who hates to travel but loves where we go and what we do and we have a cocker spaniel who loves to travel but is afraid of loud noises, be it a bee, fly or fireworks. She also hates when we walk or ride our bikes around the park without her.

Mine is only scared when there is a fake gunfight. After the gunshots are over, she wants to run over and see if the "victims" are alright. Hanna also meets and greets any dog she sees, but her 90 lb. GSD frame sometimes makes other owners and dogs nervous.

My Bassett is the reason I bought the motorhome. I don’t stay anywhere that charges extra for animals.

I have not been to an rv park that charges extra, but Im guessing maybe they have tacked on the extra charge because at some point, they have had to pay someone to go around and pick up all the dog crap. According to everyone, they never do it, yet every park has piles of it all over the place. Pet owners who don't clean up after their pets are to blame. You cant blame the campground owners.
