Bailey the crazy piebald longhair dachshund, Jack the laid back "Chihorgi" (1/2 Chihuahua, 1/2 corgi), and Pete the almost tame tomcat. 48 lb. of pets, all fun. We RV so our pets don't have to stay in hotels. Name of our Pickup camper: "Pete's Castle".

They also go wherever we go on the water. Name of the Chris Craft: "Tres Hombres" for the three 4 legged mariners!

Over 30K miles on land, and 1K miles on water for this trio. Many years of great memories of their predecessors: Angel, Scooter, Fritz, Bandit, Cookie. Always with us...

We are just getting started, but Sophie--our English Bulldog--will certainly be along with us. She is a big part of our lives.

We have 2 clockers that always go camping with us. My husband modified dog fence to make a yard for the dogs that fits under the steps. No more leashes to go out. Just open the door and the have access to their yard. Best thing ever!

Pet forum site?

I was logged in and reading posts on the pet forum and decided to write a post to add. It made me log in all over again and now I'm not sure if I'm even on that forum any longer, there's no way to tell?
Anyway I was wondering if anyone else has problems getting into campgrounds or resorts with more than 2 dogs? We just returned from a 2 month getaway traveling from ME to FL in our 38' RV with our Golden Retriever and 2 long-haired Chihuahuas. The Chi's combined don't even weigh 10 lbs., but we were told at several places they had a 2-dog maximum regardless of the size. We were very disappointed, wondering if others have run into this problem too? Another issue we had was not being allowed to use our outside pen for the Chi's, they are too little to be hooked onto a tether staked into the ground like we use for the Golden. Not having any other means for them to be outside we had to keep them inside the RV at all times other than for short walks.

I think about 80% of all RVs have pets in them.

We always setup a large pen against the side of our MH for our Springers. I wouldn't go to an RV park that wouldn't let me do that. Vote with your wallet. Click image for larger version

Our rescue Chihuahua mix knows nothing else. We are full time and he joined us when he was 12 weeks old.

Our rig is his home as it ours.

He is a good traveler and loves to ride.

We got Ryder from a pound in lakewood CO just before we started full time. I still am not sure of the breed, but I think he is a cross between a poodle and a garbage disposal.
I tell everyone he is an Ethiopian Monkeybeaver dog. I know he is Ethiopian because he is always hungry and he eats bananas and tree roots.

We're in the process of getting our first MH and going full time. We have 3 dogs. Sammy, 9 yr old blk lab, Ozzie , 2 yr , chocolate Lab and our latest addition , Lola a yr old Newfoundland! They are coming. I got the book for camping with dogs to find the ones with multiple dogs. Check out www.petfriendly.com. Hope that's correct! I just started a blog about us looking for the rv and getting rid of stuff . Www.livingtheartistsdream.com. If any of you have a blog I'd love to follow you!

Hope you're getting a 45 footer!

We have a 39' MH and 3 Springers gave a way of making it feel small.
