New crew member from the Humane Society

Today my wife and I adopted a rescue dog
From the Humane Society.

She is super thin due to bad treatment by previous owners, I was told she put on 10lbs since her rescue, she has another 10-20lbs to go.

We have named her Kate Moss after the supermodel.

We went to Pet Smart to get a collapsible crate for traveling in our rig.

Our 2 cats are cautiously scoping her out.

Oh my! She's so thin. Thank-you for adopting her. How are things going with Kate and the cats?

OH!!!! I don't know how I missed this!

Congrats to you and a huge thank you from a rescuer, it is wonderful to see this gal get a chance. You actually brought tears to my eyes, I hope she is doing well with the kitties!

Awesome! Just be prepared that rescued dogs may come with a package, but once you have proven that you're trustworthy, things are going to be very rewarding!

(we have 11 rescued dogs at home, but only two of them are going on tours, the pack is the reason why we cannot do full timing yet)

Hi all,

Kate is getting on so well.
She has put on a lot of weight. She loves the rv. She is also very good both on and off her lead.

The cats are starting to get used to her.

How long before she's old enough to drive. Our Lab thinks she can.
