Our camp mascot

Finn will soon be joining us in camping!
He's a 13 month old working line red sable GSD, sourced from East Germany/Czechoslovakia.
Unfortunately, we did not have have a camper when he was a wee pup, so we are acclimating him to the prospect.
Small steps, making it fun & goal-oriented as we go.
(The "SnuzeMeister") (Finn with his Mumma)

Beautiful dog, got to believe he will be raring to hit the road with you quickly. I know for my dogs, being with us is the most important thing.

(As I type this, my Springer Spaniel is outside my office door waiting for my wife to come downstairs but where she can see me and my Cocker Spaniel is curled up under my desk and my feet on the pillow we have there for her to lay while I work.)

Yep... we inform people that Finn is from the "Velcro" region of Eastern Germany.

What a pretty pup. I've never seen one with red like that. Makes a good match to his Mumma's hair.

There is great need for a sarcasm font.

GSD's are great dogs. We are on our 5th one and they all loved RV travel.

Thanks!
When he was a wee pup, he was red (similar to a fox color) all over, except for his black muzzle and tip of his tail.
Red Sables tend to be more common amongst working-line GSDs, than show-lines, from what I've seen.

This is our second GSD.
After our first, we had an English Mastiff (180lbs) and a Newfoundland (185lbs). Both wonderful boyz (just not conducive to camping), but we are enjoying the more "manageable" size of our current GSD (82lbs) LOL.

I'd bet a dog biscuit that Finn will love traveling and camping. Ours is a little chihuahua/terrier mix that makes sure not to get left behind. He's the first one in the motorhome when we start packing for a trip.
