We saw this 2 years ago while traveling back to Florida from Yellowstone.

I couldn't resist taking a picture since we love traveling with pets. At the time we had one large golden retriever and 3 cats.

This man and his companion were stopped at an overlook at Shell Canyon on US 14 between Yellowstone and I 90. They had been camping in Yellowstone and were on their way back to Missouri.

There are scads of tent campers who travel with pets. I well remember the days of car pooling for trips when I was a backpacker.

Tho I admit my pets were 'op's', other people's.

We tent camped for years with our Eskimo Spitz. She loved camping. All those new people who told her how beautiful she was... She loved to be told that.
