My almost 19 year old silver kitty (pic above) I found in a garbage dumpster with 4 brothers and sisters. The mom was feral, and because of the orientation of the dumpster she crawled into the back through a rust hole at the bottom. I got them all out but the mother was feral and ran away. She lived somewhere near the river. I wish I was able to trap her, but I didn't see her much. I gave the others to a foster and kept the runt female, which was my kitten.
The black and white one I found in the bushes with a couple brothers. I had fostered multiple kittens over the years, and their survival past about 5 weeks is around 65%, but in this litter her two brothers had "fading kitten syndrome". It's weird. You know when it's coming and no matter how much you force them to eat they just get weaker and weaker and die. So I list her two brothers, but I kept her. Jellybean is HUGE for a female cat. She's about three times the size of my cat, and what's weird is the amount of inbreeding that happens with the cats near my house they all look unhealthy and small. Mine (from the same family of feral cats) is huge, and very healthy looking compared to her brothers and sisters and mother. Her father is this tiny little black cat male. So she stays outside because my 19 year old cat doesn't like her and I don't want her to get hurt from the kitty so I keep her outside most of the time. She fights a lot with her brothers and sisters and mother and father. She's like twice their size and wrecks them. Chases them all over the place. It's hilarious.

Good for you. Justa little tip (you probably already know). Milk can dehydrate kittens and give them diarrhea which weakens their immune systems. There is a powdered formula just for cats (easy to carry and won’t go to waste) I’ve used KMR. I once had a kitten ride in the truck engine for 2hrs (135miles). Got home from fishing and saw him drop down onto the top of the front tire. I lifted the hood to make sure ~ yep little kitty paw prints!!! Amazing!
My friend took him. Named him lucky. He is now 12 years old
*For puppies I’ve used Esbilac*
Kasey the dog in my Avatar was bottle raised rescued her @ 19 days old.
She just turned 10

This is Radar (yes, O'Reilly), the Boxer. He's a 2 yr old Mobility Service Dog. He's my partner on the road & makes all our adventures possible. He hauls me up our steep Class A stairs, along with the groceries & other assorted burdens, & makes it look so effortless!

That is so cool! I didn't know they had dogs that did that. Way to go!
