Rv inside security camera on the road

We want to monitor our dogs and rv when we are on the road and stop at a rv park for a week, etc. Does anyone have such a Devise? We have looked into nest, baby monitors, and outside cameras but all seem to use wifi and this can be a problem in an rv park. We were hoping to use,for example att unlimited data without wifi.

Google cameras and you will have lots to look at- I have 5 cameras in my house, the only thing you need is wifi. you can monitor or check with an app. Works great and nothing monthly.I monitor our dogs went away for a time if they aren't with us.

You can use an old smart phone with a free app. The app I use is called Athome. They will work on WIFI without a SIM card, but to use cellular data it would require a SIM card. From my smart phone I can monitor my living room at the house and if there is movement detected it sends me a text. I then open the app and start it recording to the cloud. It is sensitive enough that when the timer turns on the lights in the evening it sends me a text.

We have a Canary System and we're very happy with it. It even sends me an alert if the temp goes too high in the coach.

I use a T-Mobile hotspot on an unlimited plan. Also have a Verizon hotspot for areas that don't have t-mobile coverage. I never trust campground wifi.

Ditto....Love Canary have them at home and RV. As mgoblue86 states, make sure you get the "All-In-One" NOT the Flex....the Flex doesn't do temperature.

We bought the single Samsung camera at Costco and it works very well. we place a thermometer/humidity meter off to the side so we can see it and our pets. It was very easy to hookup and uses very little voltage. I do not recommend the Nest camera as it uses a lot of juice and gets hot. You need a WIFE or hot spot, we use the AT&T Unite Explore and it works great also

Anything you use will have to have Internet connected Wifi to communicate with you. That's exactly what the Mobley does; it provides a Wifi signal to your devices to allow them to connect to the Internet.

For video monitoring, if you have an extra older smartphone you can use some of the Apps such as Alfred or others:

You don't need cell service on the phone, just Wifi and a charger.

A wife or hot spot? I better not respond to that on this forum.

I am looking for a camera just to view our Yorkie. I don't care about recording or talking on it. It will be use with my Mobley wifi which has unlimited data. I would need to view the live video on either my phone or tablet.

Love the Costco camera. The app works well and we can hear and zoom.
