PS: thanks to everyone's in-put.
If Marcell is like Waggle, you are purchasing a dedicated cellular device and choosing which network you wish to use. This service is wholly unrelated to your personal cell provider. When I went with Waggle, I had AT&T for my personal cell service, but chose Verizon for my Waggle device as Verizon provided the best coverage for the areas we travel most frequently.

You are paying Marcell a yearly subscription fee which includes the cellular connectivity, you cannot 'add a line' to your existing cell plan and add the monitoring device.

By the way, if you haven't yet purchased, I'll throw my vote to Waggle. Works great for 2 years on the 4G Verizon network.

We use MarCELL. However, for one power outage we could not get back to the RV because of a downed power pole in the road. Stressful to know the power is out and the Air will not come on when the RV heats up. Just because you get an alert doesn't mean you can get back in time to deal with the outage.

If you have a newer Onan Generator then look into this - link below. It's the easiest AGS I have found that will work off temperature. HOWEVER, you must have thermostats that work off 12V DC as the thermostats working off 120V AC will lose their settings when the AC power goes out.

The AGS will only start on high temp, not a power outage. Set the AGS a few degrees lower than the thermostat so the Generator will warm up before the Air Conditioner(s) come on.
