Waggle

Anyone use Waggle that could give feedback on it?

Thank you, Barney

We use if for our 3 dogs. It works good, my only issue is after you buy it, you then have to subscribe monthly for it work.

Do you have to pay every time you subscribe?

What is 'Waggle'? Something to do with RVing?

It monitors the temp and power status of your rig and texts out of bounds conditions to your phone.

Hmmm. Nothing to good for our buddies. I would suspect having to have a reliable WiFi.

However, there are other things that also include WiFi or a hotspot and require no monthly fees. You purchase cameras for under $80 and download their app. But I understand you didn’t ask for my opinion.

Furthermore, I’m very glad that a lot of us like to monitor our pets and property. To many people don’t.

Slightly off topic, but related I think. As far as pet health needs on the road, or at home for that matter, AirVet is an online veterinarian resource.

Not sure about Waggle, but we use MarCell. It is cellular based, no Wi-Fi. Also just an annual monitoring bill.

It has built in WiFi/cellular, no need to connect it to any signal.

Have it, love it. Lets me know immediately if power fails so I can monitor temperature in the coach and get back if something’s not right.

Has never worked correctly for me. I've had it for a year and it's been a waste of money for the device and subscription. Sends a constant stream of text and email alerts that the temp in my RV is 20-30 higher than the actual temp in the RV. So it's been pretty useless and expensive. They've tried to "reset" it a few times but it never works correctly.

Agreed. Waggle never worked for us despite many attempts. We purchased a MarCELL Pro a while back and works really great. About 1/2 the monthly cost , made in USA and allows for phone call alerts. (Not just text alerts). Worth upgrading to the Pro model since it has real-time alerts and ability to view real-time conditions! Good luck!

We've had Waggle for about 3 years. It has worked perfectly for us. Once you set the limits of high and low temps and high and low humidity you can set which alerts you wish to get. We have ours set to send both of us a text and an e-mail if something is off. Even lets you know if power is lost (and when it comes back).

Yes, we pay an annual fee - that is because it uses cell towers for connection (not wi-fi).

With is we know that our dogs are comfortable if we, say, go off and play golf.

We love it.
