Wash your pet at Tractor Supply Co.?

I stopped by the Loveland, CO TSC to fill a DOT propane cylinder today. When I went inside to pay I cruised the aisles like I usually do when I get my liberty card.
I noticed a door on the back wall of the store with a sign on the door's window saying it was a petwash with a price of $9.95. Several folks were inside washing something in a large raised stainless steel sink and an overhead water hose.
I've been inside many TSC stores all over CONUS and have never seen this before. Am I the last to know as usual?

A new Tractor Supply store just opened near us in NW Connecticut. They have the pet wash station.

They work well. We have used then on occasion when a pet groomer was not available when needed.

No you are not the last to know. I didn't know that until you brought it up! So that makes me the last to know.

Here is a link. Sadly I don't see any TS w/pet wash near me

During our FT travels all around the USA we found them at TSC, Cash Washes, Strip Malls etc.

Ramp up to Large Metal Tub with mat, harness to hook to pet collar, overhead handheld spray nozzle----some had 'selector' on wall to choose shampoo, rinse, conditioner, final rinse (very similar to cash wash) plus vacuum and blow dry
Some had towels for drying off pet with

With a large 78# long haired dog they were great!

We HAD one in town in a strip mall but it closed mid-year 2020...dang.

I have seen a few at truck stops or truck washes, and when I say a few I mean it, I was an OTR truck driver

We sometimes have a hard time finding a groomer when we are traveling. We have used several at TSC and car washes. We always bring towels because they are not always supplied and we have not been successful with the dryers.

Car washes to wash a dog?

For grooming, which our two labradoodles need every 6/7 weeks, we always use PetSmart. They have always done a good job for us.

Well, that's disappointing. I was envisioning the dog strapped in the back of a pickup and .....

Oh, never mind

We used Tractor Supply for the tub to make a home pet wash station.

Having spent 50 years in the car wash business, it gets a lot of talk in the industry. The operators that install them seem to have grandiose delusions of huge profits. The reality is that they seldom live up to their expectations and they get very discouraged from having to clean it up after pretty much every dog. They are not rare at car washes, but I don't see them ever becoming commonplace.
