My dogs prefer to sleep in a crate. But crates take up a lot of room. I'm always reorganizing. LOL

My 2 labs (58 lbs & 70 lbs) sleep on the small jack-knife sofa. I open it up and there's just enough room for them. The big 85lb Golden-Doodle sleeps on the floor.

We bring along a collapsible crate and the beagle sleeps in there at night. When we don't need it, it folds flat and can be moved out of the way or stored. During the day he's taken over the jackknife and spends an inordinate amount of time on either the pilot or co-pilot's lap.

Our Pit/Shar Pei mix sleeps in his bed on the floor next to our bed. No dog that we have ever owned has slept on the bed or the couch. I was raised that dogs belong on the floor and while I don't care if people like dogs in their bed, it is not for me. I prefer that my lovely wife of 22 years keeps me warm at night!

Two Aussie mix mutts. One likes the bed, and the other likes the J lounge sofa up front so she can 'guard' the door.
At home they both sleep on the bed.

Under the bottom overhang of our King bed in her personal bed. Quieter, and very dark. She's always goes there on her own.

Starts out near the foot of the bed.

Ends up on my pillow, and my feet sticking out the end of the bed !

Our great granddaughter 10lb Shichon sleeps with us in our king size bed just like at home, the dog stays with us. She heads for the bedroom a little after 9pm every night

Our motorhome is "carpeted" with dog pillows and blankets for the 2 greyhounds, so pretty much anywhere they plop down for the night.
