Our Aussie Healer Mix sometimes starts out on the dinette couch where she falls asleep while we are awake. Once we pull the Murphy bed down she will either stay on the dinette until my wife comes to bed, or she will claim her spot at the foot of the bed on my wife's side. She has never slept anywhere, all night, other than at my wife's feet, on the bed.

One sleeps in the closet on her bed as she had in the previous 5er and the other in her bed next to the dresser. The closet sleeper tends to wander so during the night, she will often be on the landing in front of the bathroom door, possibly so she can look out of the window.

Our goldendoodle, Sophie, likes the sofa when driving, and will spend most of the night on our bed with us. She is about 52#'s. She is a great traveler.

The dogs pick..
Having dogs is the reason we switched from dually/5th wheel to class A. Even with a crew cab, there was not enough room for 2 adults, 2 kids and 2 golden retrievers. Now that the kids are grown and have moved out, we still camp in a class A, and have 3 goldens, all over 85 pounds. And just like at home, they sleep wherever they want. Sometimes we have to make sure they don't "want" our bed before we get in.

Lily, our 45 lb basset hound sleeps where ever she wants to. After all she is the princess, and we work for her.
