Spend the summer in a 29' Georgie Boy. Not totally solo as I have my dog but I most likely fit for the club.

Introducing Lulu a new Solo Traveler - 3/28/22

I want to introduce myself - I bought a new 2021 Entegra Oddyssey 26D in August of 2020. I have wanted an RV for years. My good friends asked me to drive them to an RV dealership to pick up their new coach - and I walked in, took a test drive, returned home, did a little research and very soon there after I was the proud owner of my rig. I had never camped before, and had no experience with an RV. With the multitude of utube tutorials, it has not been a challenge. Yes things go wrong - and yes dealerships are short on everything including but not limited to technicians, parts, products etc. One needs patience that is a given. My first trip, I headed out with my adult daughter and never even thought about how the inexperience might hamper our trip. NOT - we had an amazing 3500 miles adventure with a couple of mishaps, but we just tackled them. I love everything about RV exploring - but being alone (my husband passed away 9 years ago) I discovered Loners on Wheels - which has been a super fun, welcoming group to meet up with. There are 3 chapters in FL. and I highly recommend solo travelers look into their program. I have traveled all over the world, but my travel within FL has been limited. Since joining LOWs I am discovering wonderful FL destinations.
Happy to answer any questions about LOWs if you want to know if it is for you. LULU

Nice to meet you! I'd like to possibly join Loners on Wheels as my winter destination is Port Charlotte, Florida. I will be heading north and west for the summer, though. I will send you a private message with my contact info. Thanks, Lynn

Hadn't seen this thread on here before.
Flying solo (with pooches) in my 97 Monaco Executive. Mostly a weekend warrior since I'm still working. Based out of the western slope of Colorado.
I see some solo folks now and then, but very few. Guessing there isn't many of us out there.

Welcome. Glad you found the thread!

I think you'll be surprised at how many solo folks are out here. I'm full time, and just made my yearly move from the Arizona desert to Colorado. I was camped next to a Solo in Arizona when I left, and am camped by another solo near Colorado Springs now.

Regardless, enjoy the time you can spend. Life is short!

Yes it did. Welcome and hope everything works out ok and you can get back on the road. This isn't a very active thread, unfortunately or maybe fortunately! Guess it is all how you look at things!
