Hello all. I am a single FT RVer, with 2 dogs. I have been fulltime since about 2019. Mostly in FL since my elderly dad is still in FL. I have Thousand Trails, so usually stay within their system of parks, but have ventured out some and would like to more often.

I've been full time for a year this November. I'm in Iowa most of the time, staying close to elderly parents as well. They spend winters in South Texas, so I guess I do too now, lol.... Close but not with them, they have their own set up there.

What breed are your dogs? I so miss having dogs and want one, but don't think it will work with my lifestyle just yet. Maybe I'll find one that changes my mind, but I still want to travel and explore. Maybe I just need to stop overthinking?

Hi all, new to the club. Dan, 68 travel in my diesel pusher towing my jeep, the usual stuff. I'm mostly seasonal, sourthern AZ in winter (heading back in a couple of weeks) and Colorado in summer.

I have my cats with me so they are great company. Im trying to get my rv road worthy so I dont worry. there are so many places i want to go.......

Hello all,
Just wanted to write and say that i am new here and living full time in an older 98 winni, the last 4 years in the middle of 20 acres set up off grid. All by beautiful Lake Chelan, WA. Selling my property and using the proceeds to work on property I also have in Kettle Falls, WA. My Mom is not doing well health wise and want to be close to her this winter. I recently purchased a ‘99 Bounder 39/Z. Was going to be a home for both my wife and I, but going through a divorce. So, will be just me and my senior dog Lily. This year will be wintering at an RV park in Kettle Falls, WA. But honestly, hopefully, next year will go south for the winter, exploring the country as I go. In the “new” motor home of course. Hopefully diesel prices will be less!

I retired from CenturyLink, Lineman, and did many other jobs, even working in the medical field as an RT. Not rich, not poor. You don’t have to look far to see how blessed you really are. My heart is broken, i am lonely, but making lemonade out of lemons. Been an outdoor kind of guy all my adult life. Mountain climbing, backpacking and more. Love to Fly fish when I can. Have to miss the Salmon season at the coast this season due to the divorce and getting everything setup and ready for winter. Well, hopefully all who read this will be happy and safe. See you on the road or at a campground somewhere sometime. You never know who God puts in your path! Vance.

Got it Welcome to the site. I just wanted to share with you. a number of years ago I too went through a divorce. At the time I was heartbroken as well. Just rest assured you will be happy again as I am. You will also find as you travel east fuel prices drop significantly. I was just in Detroit and fuel prices were $1.00 a gallon cheaper than here in Phoenix. Once again welcome and best of luck in all future endeavors.
