This Thread is making me second-guess my decision to buy a 17mke.
Ball to bumper length is 21 ft and it has a Murphy bed. My plan is to solo full-time for a year as I crossed the states.

If I was solo travelling, my RV would be pretty small. Probably a small class c just over 20 foot long.

I wouldn't change a thing, I like the room and performance of our rig.

Alikair, rent a similar size trailer for a couple of weeks, if it starts to feel like the walls are closing in on you after 9-11 days, then it is too small. I know in my own travels of up to about a month at a time our coach starts feeling a little cramped at around the 2-3 week point (2 weeks if my wife is along, 3-3.5 weeks if solo), livable, just a little small, a little too much of the same 4 walls. Enough to know I would want something larger for longer term travel.
