Solo Musician Newbie looking for Travelers

I am a dedicated female musician/artist totally NEW to RVing. Looking for creative individuals to make friends with and travel together. Don't mind sharing or buying my own RV. Have no clue about this world but would love to explore the idea. If anyone is interested or have any advice or recommendation please make my day. I do live in CA. Looking forward to hearing from you.

The hardest part will be to find somebody your compatible with. Spending that type of time together, just rving isn’t going to get it.

This post is confusing. Are you looking for someone to share your rv? Be in a band? Just other people traveling?

I’ve met a lot of people on the road and clicked with them. Rvers are generally friendly. Go out there and meet people. Do things you like. Chances are you’ll meet people that way.
I even caravanned with some for a whole summer. We had a blast. Others I stay in touch with and meet up along our travels.
I’d love to meet a woman to share time with but it hasn’t happened. Probably I’m just too picky.
But life is still good.

Thanks for responding. I got inspired with idea of buying an RV instead of a house but unfortunately it is not possible to drive it by myself. Have travelled the world and got along with anyone I chose to. If it happen to find someone then it will be great. Just putting it out there. Amazing life I have had!! Would be nice to connect to individuals like yourself. We are social beings so I am open minded. I think you mentioned that you do not read the comments if I am not mistaken? My Email is minirave@copper.net
Love to talk about RV's and other matters. I am quite red pilled by the way!!!
Always listen to what others have to say. Have a good week.

Late to the party but can relate. I am solo and travel with guitars, bass and 6 string. How about a smaller rig like a van thats easier to drive. Then traveling with others makes it easier to share meals and camp amenities but still have your own solo rig.
FYI, i'm always looking to connect with traveling musicians, music lovers, wandering nomads, caravaning groups, solos, whomever... as I travel and enjoy this beautiful country.

Hello Chinobob, Glad to hear from a fellow musician. Your idea is much appreciated and can be explored. I have travelled extensively and miss it very much so the thought of traveling and making music would be great. I have guitars too. Love to know more if you have a van yourself. I will have to get one if so. My direct email is minirave@copper.net
Hope to hear from you. I live in the west coast. I once was offered to travel with and make a documentary about the events and entertain folks. Music is happiness for all. Have a great day.

I don't think I can give you much help on selecting the RV that is right for your lifestyle, but others seem to suggest renting several types of RV to get a feel for what suits your needs the best.
I do think that your idea about traveling as a musician is a great way to go. After all, music is the universal language and you will be a welcomed addition to any place you set up camp.
I always travel with several guitars (there is always a player who doesn't have one handy) and also some small percussive instruments. The idea of having an informal traveling group of musicians sounds like fun.
Since you are in California you may be close enough to the Imperial Dam Long Term Visitor Area on the Colorado River to pay a visit. There is an area called Music Row that may be just what you are looking for.
Best of luck with your plans!
