Lake Pemaquid is near the ocean in Maine ,it's 7 miles long. Complete with Loons , Osprey , Bald Eagles , Mallards , Sea Gulls and a couple of Canada Geese families that live in the cove the campground is on.
Yes ,we do have a pontoon boat that is used to give lake tours every evening.
Also a boathouse where we rent out aluminum out board boats , pedal boats , kayaks , canoes , stand up paddle boards , a paddle board with pedal power and those weird water trikes.
This just happens to be my job here !
Hey , somebody's got to do it !
Not quite as cool as my job as a pirate ship captain but it will do........
I tried to add a pic attachment to this post , hope it worked.

Hello
Hi Daddy Welcome, This is a great place. I have been coming here for several years, and love it.
My friend is on Hospice and it is very difficult to deal with as we have been friends for 48 yrs.
My 1975 Barth class C and there are only 2 left in the United States. So it is my baby... My grandson wanted to give it a extended tune up after he got it a part he couldn't finish it so it has been sitting and a friend is going to finish it for me. It is very hard to find a shop that will take it once it is apart. I live in mine year around. and love it. I travel most of the time and was going to embark on a long 9,000 mile trip, but that is on hold now. That,s why the tune up.I just had the transmission worked on last year. I take good care of it . I travel with my fur child ( Chewy) and we like traveling alone and meet up with friends. I have traveled with others and had a good time, but when you travel alone you can stop anywhere you want. I also am known to decide to hey chewy lets see where this road go,s Take care and please post when you can Izzy and I have seen so many people post and then Poof there are gone.

Welcome to the singles forum.
Travel nurse is a cool way to travel and make great pay !
I have a friend in TX that has a rig like yours ,really nice inside .
Do they let you boondock in the hospital parking lots ?
Ryegal
"75 Barth , ?? can you post a picture of it?
Tune up isn't too taken apart , should go back together pretty quick.
Working on those class C engines can be a pain though ,there's not much room in the van engine compartment .
I have learned that with mine! I even have to take out my passenger seat to get at it....what were they thinking when they designed THAT ??
If I ever get another , I'm going to look for one that has the pick up nose instead !
Hospice is no fun but guess it is part of life ,my mom and I just did that last year with her 101 yr old sister, hang in there .

I did a few weekends in hospital parking lots in my truck camper in the past, but it isn't much fun. I'm usually at a hospital for 3 months or so at a time, so I just find a nice RV park nearby. It's one of the things I look at before I decide to take an assignment.
Next stop - Lexington, KY.

My Barth
My friend is coming over to work on it again. He is having some difficulty with the timing chain and the manifold I think he said as soon as he gets passed that the rest will go fast. The question about how it got a part??? I was driving it home ans heard 2 loud noises I thought it was a tire. When the tow truck driver got there he said your carburetor was running to rich and it blew a big whole in the muffler. Then my grandson who has worked on cars for a few years said he could fix it when he got it a part there was a problem between he and his dad and he walked out on it. So then I thought I could just have it towed towed into a garage.... most won't take them that way so my friend and I came to a price I know he has the knowledge to do this but he also works and has a family so time has been our problem. I want to go camping. I know he will get it done I need to be patience a lesson in life,
