Hi all, I am older than most of you. I have been RV'g for nearly 40 years. I presently am with out an RV as I sold my rig for lack of storage facilities and for a profit. I will be back in RV's just as soon as possible. Hope to meet as many of you as possible. I like to go some place and stay for awhile, then move on to another destination when it suits me.

Izzyblueye North East Indiana... I lived in Fort Wayne for several years. Would love to go back some time for a few of the festivals they have there... especially the "Johnny Apple Seed Festival".

Linda and/or Wayne,
I'm wintering on a friend's place SE of Tampa. I'd enjoy meeting over a coke or lunch if it works out. Shout out when you are headed that way.

Hi Rick, I just moved back to my Home town of Ft. Wayne after living for 40 years in N.W. Ohio. The city has sure grown and it is beautiful. If you haven't seen the new Parkview Field right in the middle of down town, you have a surprise coming. The Johnnie Apple Seed festival is still near the top of all events.

Intro
Maggie here. Age 62. Solo since 1988, no kids or family but great friends. Enjoy my freedom with no place to be at any particular time. Retired from DoD in 2006 while living in FL (last duty station). RVing since 2007 and still learning. Moved up from Class C to Class A (37') in 2011. Currently living in NC. Still have a brick/stick home until economy improves . I enjoy the RV lifestyle, but like being plugged in more so than boondocking. Many interests and enjoy interesting and unique places and people. Still adding to the bucket list. My co-pilots have fur. Really happy to see the solos are making the effort to get to know one another and making plans to meet up where possible. Merry Christmas to all.

Soon 2B Solo RVer
Hi to all you "soloists"! My name is Linda and I am only 69 years young! Still wondering when I am going to grow up! Getting ready to notch my "bucket list belt" with my first RV purchase/experience! In Late January I will consummate the purchase of a 2002 Damon Intruder. After attending RV School...( yes, my awesome dealer provides me with two days of actual camping and intensive training) I will be "getting my feet wet" visiting a friend (she has a small TT and travels with 4 small doggies) who is also a soloist! We will be wandering around Florida and I will be checking in to this forum to find you where ever you may be! Looking forward to meeting you in the near future! In the meantime safe travels to you all!

I just read an email from Darlene (ghoststories). She just got home from a 4 day stay in the hospital. I'm sure she could use a get well shout out from this group.
Feel better soon, Darlene!
