Just stopped in to say Hello!!! How is everybody? I'm at the RV park this weekend by my house. And of course it's raining. Why wouldn't it though. I've only been out 1 time this year with no rain

Hi all No Barth yet .... but soon.

Well as I posted I finally got to go camping. I went to Mineral Lake wa. It is the home of the 10lb. trout. I have been going there for about 7 yrs. It is run by the Lyons club. The town of Mineral is small and in the summers the campgrounds were full. A new timber company has now bought the whole area and the campgrounds will be closing in Dec. It has been opened since 1970s. Many of the people who go there Know that as were they caught there first fish. A family place if you go around to the north by east end of the lake Mt Rainier is right there it is an awesome site. I still want to go up again before I head south for the winter. My Barth will be ready the week of the 20th. OH yes and I didn't know this before I agreed to work a whole week. but the light atend of the tunnel is bright

I don't know anyone here, but I will be in Sherwood Forest in Kissimmee
in Florida from January15th to Feb 20th I think, have to recheck those
dates.

I have a husband but he is still working and has never traveled with me.
So I'm kind of semi solo! Would love to meet others and perhaps chat
or have dinner if you are in this campground. This year I'm traveling with
my dog and cat instead of my challenged DD so will be different.

Would look forward to meeting some of you there or on the way back and forth.

Hi Pat
Welcome to the solo forums.
Hope you find someone at Sherwood Forest.
If not here , most people at campgrounds I've been at were very friendly and easy to start up a conversation with. Walk your pets and say hi to everyone you meet and you'll probably find the friends you seek.

Maybe if I post a message on this board everyone will come back to it and talk. It seems it was already over with before I became a member. I am getting my 5er all cleaned up and ready for a bit of a trip starting the 29th (next Friday). I am heading over to TN, stop off at COE for 4 days just north of Nashville and then over to Crossville to spend time with my sister. Then I am not sure where from there....Any recommendations?

I think you must have responded to an old post because the one before this (305) is mine and dated 11/23/2015. Maybe this forum is having problems. I know you joined in April and I responded then. Anyway, this is a slow thread and I've not met anyone directly from IRV2. There is a singles RV page on yahoo that I have met a couple of people after corresponding so google rv singles on yahoo (you have to join yahoo) and see what you come up with. This forum is HO HUM

OK Rich, you are probably right. Maybe I will try out Yahoo tomorrow night. Just got through washing my awning and my 5er and I think it is "times up" for me tonight. Thanks for the heads up. Sometimes I post on RV.net, I have been on that Forum for several years. I'll look for you on Yahoo.
