Neighborly conversations

My S&B neighbor would argue with anyone on her front porch for hours. I would be out in my driveway(houses close together)washing and waxing my truck. Three hrs. later I would have something to show for my time. Different folks different strokes.

If I get a response - I see where it goes from there. If I get a "yes"/"no" sort of answer or just a gesture ... I smile and move along.

Hopefully you realize that the whole "people in my business" and "talking behind my back" is likely in your head. Even a talker like me spends virtually zero time in anybody's "business" ... and talking behind somebody's back? How would you know since you're not privy to those conversations?

If solitude is your thing - by all means enjoy it. However, if you're spending your alone time wondering / worrying about what those around you are thinking and/or saying about YOU ... you might have an issue. Aside from whatever direct interaction somebody might have had with you ... most folks couldn't care less.

Well said, I believe in being friendly and courteous to people, making new friends is one of the best things about RVing.
