Sourdough starter

Anyone take sourdough starter with them camping? I'm getting to the point where I won't be with out it. I can make biscuits. Also a loaf of bread or dinner rolls. Super easy to use compared to using yeast.........even though in reality it's all yeast.

No,
It's a starter that I've started and have been growing for a bit.

I've tried making starter a couple of times but it never really worked out well for me. It started out good but then went out died or whatever it does. I guess I'm not doing it right. So I'll stick with yeast packets
