Time for a new Gas Portable BBQ

Presently have a Weber Q 100, 10 years old, and tired. Any recommendations one other brands would be appreciated.

Portable grill 10 years old? Stick with Weber; the Q1200 is nice.

After years of "only charchol" I broke down and got a Weber Q2000 and i have been amazed. I love it and so sorry I did not get it a year ago.

I put a new burner and repainted my old Q100. Cooks just like new. If it needs a new grate better to just buy a new grill.

A two burner Nexgrill. I believe it offers more BTUs vs the popular Webers. Purchased via Costco for $110.00

Agree, I have this model and love the steel grate better than the cast grate BBQs.

I have a Coleman Roadtrip two burner gas grill and the only thing I don't like about it is that the iron grates tend to rust if not used regularly...even if I keep them seasoned like an iron skillet.

So, what brands have the best grates?

Another vote for Weber! Parts are always available. If your grill is only ten years old....what really needs replacing? I tend to think that a part or two would be far cheaper than replacing it......but....I like new things too!

We have the Weber q1200 and love it but honestly we use our 22" Blackstone way more often.

Mine is 16 years old (Weber 1000) and just made the best Chicken Dinner last night - we use the longer gas bottles as they just burn Hotter - hard to find at every location but, the grill is great.

Before this trip I really cleaned it and the Burners - and it works like New, while a little heavy I see no reason to replace it.

If you need a part or two just order it - Weber is by far the best out there.

Weber Q2000. Best grill ever! Very consistent results. I struggled with the price for a while. But cast iron grates and aluminum housing and that cool push button lighter make it a winner. Also have a cover and the stand. Makes for a great package.
