No about warranty. That is for mfgr defects and not wear out protection. I thought too they would be warranted but the company told me no. So if I can buy the cheap Monroes that came on it originally I will just change them out every 20K miles or less.

My wife says we need new ones at least on the front again. We are at 45K miles so they are shot at 30K or so miles. About normal or better than normal for my experiences.

The porpoising will be helped a lot but a good sway bar will really help.

Very helpful information. Funny thing happened when I test drove. A screw fell from the ceiling and the seller went to the back and picked it up, guessing now it came from conditioner. Thanks again!

I had a RexAir model 3550 built on a Ford 460 v-8 chassis with a tag axle. Had it from 1997 to 2012 when I sold it with just over 60,000 miles on it. Had the Banks power pack added as we pulled our 4500 lb boat the 3,000+ miles round trip from Texas to Canada every year. That trip is why I eventually went to the diesel pusher.

Obviously with the longevity of ownership, we encountered our share of breakdowns and repairs...... Part of life in an overworked RV. We never replaced the shocks as I never felt that was an issue. Perhaps due to the tag axle? I'm a preventative maintenance junky and have records of every re pair and service done to the coach during our ownership. I'd send them to you but it would probably leave you asking "what have I done?" LOL

Use it and enjoy it before making any shock replacement decisions. Can't think of a coach that wouldn't rock going over curbs.
