Yes we sold our class C and now have a 2012 Tiffin Phaeton, diesel.
We of course have more room, full size fridge, washer and dryer and while it is more costly,
I need space and this gives us that. But their is always a trade off, campsites have size limits, national parks ect. Only allow 40 ‘ including tow, so no one size fits all. So far we are happy to have this unit, very happy. Thank you and all who take the time to offer advice, we appreciate it.
We haven't been anywhere with it yet because of Covid. We wanted to head up to Maine but we are supposedly in a red state and need to quarantine upon arrival so we are waiting. We really like the coach, but the level of complexity over the gas coach is unbelievable. If you go for a DP, make sure to get the coolant tested by JG Labs, it's critical in a DP.
