Sorry for the delay. Actually I just saw this profile comment, LOL So much for my internet savvy. Yes, I bought it specifically with towing in mind. And yes, the adaptive cruise was a great surprise. Side note, I happened to buy a 2018 Chev Colorado Duramax (I'm an oil burner nut) for my business last year. It has controls on the wheel very similar to the Equinox. I have to remember that I don't have the adaptive cruise when I drive it. The best trick I've found is getting behind a semi and then engapging the adaptive cruise set on the shortest gap setting. I've tested it following a semi down an off ramp and it kept the gap right to a stop. Following a semi I will get between 48-70mpg averaging in the low to mid 50's mostly. I ordered the front wheel drive because it allows me the flexability to tow it either all down, on a trailer or on a caddy. I still have access to a car caddy that my father used.

Hi Steve, yes I have had it 2 years this August, I bought it new. I love it and happy I bought it. Gets terrific fuel mileage and tows behind our diesel pusher with no issues. Its fully loaded with all options. Best fuel mileage I have gotten is 53.5mpg and average since I bought it is 32mpg. I have 18,000 miles on it now. At least on the 2019 you will have the adaptive cruise control which the 2018 didn't come with. Did you buy it to tow behind your motorhome?

i see you have an Equinox diesel. I have a 2019 Equinox Premium Diesel. I got it after VW bought back my 2012 TDI Jetta Sportwagon. Just wondering how you like it. I ordered a 2018 but Chev kicked it back as they weren't taking orders for 18's any more then so I had to get the 19.
    Steve
