I’m sorry, I can’t find my invoice for the replacement info center, it’s been quite a while. I do know that the new & improved model replaced the older, impossible-to-see model, so Freightliner should be able to give you the correct part number. Call Freightliner Customer Assistance at 800-385-4357, give them your VIN, and they should be able to give you the correct part number.
I can't read my 2005 Phaeton's information center from my driving position - I have to put my face right up to the display to read it. There is a 2011 thread about this, and you mentioned you changed yours out for a newer model. Would you happen to have the model number for the replacement information center? I would like to have it in hand to make sure the Freightliner shop orders the right thing. They are being a little obtuse about this problem. Thanks.
