The only time we have plugged in with 5th wheel in last four years was when we left the rig at an RV park (the only RV park we have used) in Gunnison, CO for a few days when we went to visit younger son and family for grandson's 5th birthday. We do have a 1 kW Honda which we really do need to run someday to make sure that it does run.

I was with 173rd LRRP for six monhs 1966-67. I was an assistant team leader and then a team leader. Probably was the only guy drafted from Peace Corps training position to do such. The other seven team leaders were 2nd to 8th enlistment career infantry. My original TL was Jakovenko who was later main MGer on Son Tay raid. Pat Tadina followed me (116 CQK) and god of modern Rangers. Laszlo Rabel (a friend from 4/503 PIR) followed hims as TL. His wife received the MOH from President Nixon.

We have a reunion in September. Protocol is $5 in beer kitty if there is any political or religious discussion.

We haven't been that far west yet. Looks like a good place. DW and I ride quads, old fart style, and we like to go to different areas.

Most of Monticello Canyon is private land, but the road through is a county road which often runs down the river bed. Camping is available in Cibola NF about 10 miles north of the canyon.

Know where Monticello Canyon is north of T or C. Have not camped there.

The photo was taken about 30 miles N of Lordsburg and about 3 miles from the Gila River Box Canyon in NM. It is a great area.
