Thanks for the insight. We had to order ours no one is actually carrying them in inventory. Will have it shipped to daughter's house and when in Texas give it a shot to install it ourselves, have a son and son-in-law that we can enlist their services aka muscle. We did buy the extended, if wrong would rather be this wrong than if we did not buy it and were wrong.

The holes at the top fit as they are adjustable. The microwave hangs from a bar at the bottom that has to be attached to the wall. So that bar comes with the microwave and needs to be screwed into the wall. The vent is not centered in the same position as the other one. No big deal as it is close. You can cut, bend and tape the vent with duct tape to fit the microwave vent position. Any RV tech could do it. Do not need a dealer or expert as the wiring is just a plug in. (The old one comes out real easy). The installer might need a bit of help holding it and keeping it level and screwing in the support bar.

The flat oven racks store so easily when not in use. Unlike the tall round stands that were in with the first micro. We also bought the extended service etc warranty. (as we are full time and I cook a lot). Although, I used the GE Profile in the other coach with out any problems for 6 years. Looking back it was a toss up to get the warranty or not? Hope it helps.

It appears we are going to need to install the microwave ourselves. None of the sellers want to install in an RV and all the RV dealers are booked up beyond our stay. Looking at the bar across the top I was wondering how the holes for the GE lined up with that bar/plate, was it a simple install the bar on the top of the new microwave and lift that sucker up to install or was there a need to drill new holes in the bar/plate to match up with the GE install?

I appreciate any additional insight you can provide.
