    My sincerest apologies for the real late response. Thank you for the advice. Mini is on the road and working fine.

    We tow an automatic 2012 Mini Countryman FWD on a tow dolly and leave it in park with of course the emergency brake off. There would be no reason to leave it in neutral since putting it in park only locks the front wheels assuming this is FWD.

    Sir I saw your post and would like a few more details on towing an automatic 2016 Mini Cooper clubman. Reading multiple posts and there is always mixed opinions. As I said it is an automatic, FWD and I have the dolly for the tow. You Stated that you left it in park when loaded. I was told to leave it in nuestral.
