Rich,the one downside to a TST system is that the batteries are NOT user replaceable. They are good for 5-7 yers and then must be sent back for replacement. Why the long range of time? It depends on the customer's usage, i.e. those who put their rigs in winter storage and remove batteries and then still only go out 3-4 times in summer will probably get even more than 7 years.
