    Thanks.
The actual name is Gertrude Fout, but the marriage certificate shows it as Gertie Faust. Then I found a record at the cemetery for a Gertrude Faunt. It was listed on the record on Aug 15, 1927. I had her date of death as Aug 13, 1927 so I'm pretty sure that is her. She was only 14 when they married and 21 when she died. Such a short life. The cemetery record looks like she is in division L.

I'll keep you updated. We've been having rain here the last couple of days. All that means is that the snow turns to solid ice. The other night it was -1. Today we have a warm temp of close to 40.

Deb we don't go into LR much, especially THAT area of town, but when the rains clear and it warms up we will give it a look. The names are not familiar to us although we did go to high school with a Garrison. Let us know if by chance your cousins provide any additional info. Currently, winter cold and rain has returned here for a few days. Send me your grandmother name and dates with both spelling and we'll try to get at least a pop of grave marker. -Tim

    Hi
My cousins that live in Hot Springs are Ervin & Jean Freeman. The cousins in LR are Betty & Don Garrison. Ervin believes that my grandmother is buried at Oakland Cemetery in LR. I looked it up and found a name that is possibly here but the last name is spelled wrong. But the Dates match. The name that the cemetery has is Gertrude Faunt and she is in Division L. I see from search on line that the cemetery is huge, a collection of several cemeteries. I am going to call these cousins up and see if they will go check it out. But if they aren't able to and you are planning a trip that way, that would be way cool. I am trying to find some documentation that list my dad as her child. She died of TB and was in Little Rock prior. Supposedly all records were destroyed years ago. I've put out emails to the historical society for the sanitarium and an email to someone for the children's home that was in Little Rock. It has been an interesting trip so far. Have a good evening.
    Deb
