My coach has a small switch made by Eaton just before the heater core. The two heater hoses from the engine terminate into it. Two short hoses connect it to the heater core. When you turn the heater on, it allows water to flow through the core. You can remove the two input hoses and use a coupler to connect them and water will just recirculate back to the engine.

I have a 1999 Monaco Diplomat and the heater core has started leaking, I saw your post about a heater core bypass. Can you tell me how to use the bypass. Thanks
