Same issue going on here. Put on new fuel filters-5.9 Cummins engine will not start. 1999 Discovery 37v with 5.9 liter 24 valve Cummins engine. I changed both fuel filters. Did not fill either one with diesel. I then removed the fuel line going directly to high pressure fuel pump and, using the 9 pound electric fuel pump, pumped about 2 gallons of diesel from the fuel tank thru both fuel filters and caught the fuel in a container. I then filled the line going to the high pressure pump and re-attached this line. Engine will not start. Help
