Finally got around to having the International Harvester Dealer change my Exhaust from activating when I let off the gas to when I hit the brake.

I had a quick question. With the exhaust brake switched on, how long do you have to hold the brake on to activate the exhaust brake?

Mine seems to have a lag. Holding the brake down for a few seconds activates the EB, while short braking does not. Was wondering if this was normal operation.
