Just played a little with the search window and if you type in Vintage465 it pulled up all the posts I started. One I saw that I posted how I ran the conductors. One showed the final product. One stated how it worked.

    Hi J Journey,
On 11-19-2019 I posted a pile of pics and a pretty good amount of text describing what I did. The post is called "completed my solar upgrades" I think If you search with that you can find it. I am just so tickled each time we go camping cause it just works great now.

Hi, I read your response to Zoomschwartz and think I have found a clear path to my question as to how to best address solar for my Outdoors purchase this year. I quote"with my 450w set up, the controller in the pass thru near the battery(this is the key)and 4-6v GC batteries we really never need a generator.Again, the key is NOT putting the controller where the factory designs it to go in the cabinet over the bed. I ran #4 conductor from the combiner to the pass thru, then #2 from the controller to the batteries. The difference is substantial. Nothing wrong with trying 600w though. I'ts the conductor size and the placement of the controller that really matter in my opinion." Might you have posted your installation and equipment list in prior posts? If so, can you steer me to where they might be, Thank you and stay safe. Tony
