Good to hear from you, it's been a while. We have enjoyed the Miata, we have a second car that we also tow depending on where we are going. That's the reason we made our baseplate. Turned out easy to do and inexpensive, just bought the cheapest Blue Ox I could find. I had a certified welder make the changes, wanted to be sure. We are at Dauphin Island, AL. and leaving for Melbourne Beach, FL.
