Re-routed Defroster? hose that ran behind gauges. Hasn't reoccured, but I would'nt swear that was the fix... Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Did you ever solve your issue with your gauges fogging? Mine are fogging up and while it doesnt hurt anything, it is annoying.
