I tow mine on an open trailer. I can tow three small bikes or two larger ones. I have never put a bike in a truck bed....too chicken. My buddy has a Wells enclosed, I can borrow it when I want. I may use it for the River Run this year.

We too are Goldwingers. 2003 Pewter. How do you take your bike with you? We have a Wells Cargo enclosed trailer now, after years of loading the bike in a Silverado 4wd. That was too stressful and not really safe! Regards, Jim
