    Hey Bob,
I'm hoping this message ends up where it's supposed to, to you. I don't deal in this section of the forum very often. Usually PM. Anyway, Yes, when the charging side of my 11 year old Dimensions Inverter/Charger gave up the ghost, I was immediately on the hunt for a new unit. My wife, the ever so diligent thing she is, was immediately on Craigslist just checking around. Low and behold, she found a recently posted Magnum ME2012. The listing was only hours old. So, I called. Long story short, the owner was changing out his 6 month old Magnum ME2012 (MSW) Inverter/Charger for a new Magnum PSW Inverter/Charger. The reason, his wife's health condition took a turn for the worse and, he had to carry electrically operated medical components which, needed clean electricity, not modified as MSW units provide. So, he got the new one and I got his 6 month old ME2012. I got it for $600.
    to be continued...

Scott, My dimensions 2000 energy management system appears to not be functioning correctly. Door Guy (Barry Miller) tells me he thinks you replaced yours with a magnum. I can measure 12.8 volts DC going in but no AC out. It does charge the batteries when plugged into shore power and inside AC plugs work when on shore power. Did you replace yours with a magnum and if so run into any problems? Did you need to replace the control panel in the galley?

While looking at that I noticed water at the base of the water heater. I removed the inspection plate and can see all four hoses and there is not a leak at connections so must be old age rusting it out on the bottom. Only about $450-500 on the internet. I'll do a little searching on the Magnum to get a feel for that unit. Any how any thoughts or suggestions appreciated. I had written a lot more in this message but told mush be less than 1000 characters.
