We just celebrated my wife's birthday on the 2nd. We planned to go to Mathews gap but could not get in. Verona is great and if you want to go farther south try natural bridge.

Endless caverns I very nice but not a lot in the area to do. Great meatows on skyline drive still had openings for the weekend and it is a nice campground.

Taz, thanks for responding. My wife's birthday is the 16th of this month and she wants to go to the mountains. We were just up at Pigeon Forge in July so I thought we may try Shenandoah Valley. Trying to find info and what we can do for activities if that is where we decide. Any ideas.
    Thanks

    Semper Fi.

We love or Damon and we spend a lot of time customizing it to our needs. I did not get a chance to retire. I planned to make a career but was released 30 years ago after an accident. I still have many leather neck friends and rarely meet one I don't like. Was a field radio operator and most of my time was at 29 stumps. We are in the Shenandoah Valley Va.

Hey Taz I just joined the group, and was reading some post by Damon owners. I noticed you were a Damon owner and apparently a Marine. I am a retired Marine LDO living in Jacksonville,NC and I to am a Damon owner. We have a 36' Damon challenger. Just thought I would make contact. Bob USMC Ret.
