Aussies are the most amazing animals. I love my Scotties, but the Aussie (the Artful Dodger) is very special. He does amazing, stupid pet tricks, like stacking coloured rings, fetching the dirty dog dishes, slippers, and the newest trick, opening up the fridge and getting me a beverage. Although I just may live to regret teaching him that one!

I do agree... the little guy is often referred to as the "doctor" but his name is Ted. He has to attend to every scrape, cut or scratch that he notices on your body. He will pull off a bandaid so he can see the area. I often take him to work if I am called in on a weekend or evening. He finds the most strategic location in the office to place himself so he can make sure I am not out of his eye.
