    The other 2 switches turn all power off to everything in the coach and on the chassis to keep the batteries from running down. It also, I believe, turns off all the phantom power users.

    I don't know if you are still here, just now found this message.
    My invertor doesn't work so I don't know what the sleep position is, but I have
    complete manuals and it may be in there.

    pat wonderer1 here. i also have a 1992 american eagle, mine is the j model love it. if you have time, i have two questions. in the overhead above the dinette the inverter control panel. what is the sleep position for ? also above that are two switchs one for chassis the other for coach ( when turned on they light up ? ) what are there purpose ? thank you so much jim
