I clicked on your site because you're listed as a Community Administrator within the Vintage RV group. I inherited a 1987 Toyota Sun Lander Express. It's a real beauty, but the 4 cylinder engine is gutless. We can barely make it up moderately steep hills, which makes it nearly useless. Do you know if the engine can be souped up or replaced with either a 6 cylinder or new 4 cylinder? If not, can you direct me to someone who might be able to help? Thanks! Barbara Griffin

This is a problem that you should be aware of and prepared for in case you end up having a problem with your Norcold unit.

WE are recent Class A 36; Astoria 2006 DP owners. Traded up from Class C Winnebago Rialta 2005. BUt did not consider dealing with size and weight of the Class A Cover.
QUESTION: Living in High Desert Sierra Mountains we believe using a Full RV Cover is a must, due to snow, sun fade, minimal rain. Our one problem at 73 yrs of age, is simply having to install any cover due to its weight and need to climb on top the RV. Our first thought is to buy a lite weight Tyvex Cover ( 50% lighter ) rather than a fabric cover.
All suggestions appreciated as to Type and method to install....ed/joann reno, nevada

Just joined today. We purchased a 2014 Thor Hurricane a few months ago and love it. Have already taken it on a few camping trips to lake Guntersville, AL and Panama City Beach. But the real reason for the purchase was for tailgating! Really looking forward to our first game at the Georgia Dome. WVU vs Bama. And believe it or not im a West Virginia Mountaineer although we live in Alabama. Anyway, just wanted to say hello. Looking forward to the group/forum
