Larry, I have been reading IRV2 post "https://www.irv2.com/forums/f56/lifep04-drop-in-batteries-347453-4.html", on a drop in battery. I like your common approach. I am wondering on your current system.
"360AH Lithium Battery, 1480 Watts PV solar"
I recently rebuild my battery compartment for greater flexibility.
8, 6Vdc Deep cycle or up to 6 L-16's, my solar 1600 watts.
Magnum MS2812, Midnite classic 150 Solar. Both controllers have flexibility in charger output.
    Sorry for being long winded.
Question is on your type of batteries and the BMS system along with system disconnect for temperature, etc. Could you elaborate on your system, please.
My chassis alternator also charges the batteries, to continue this approach, I suspect a dedicated Dc to Dc charger to continue this approach ?
    My email address is Gatorcq@gmail.com
    Sincerely Dale Prichard

I have a vast knowledge about PV solar, batteries and inverters. I'll try to provide the best answer if I know it and hopefully correct some "Campfire" talk. Full-time 1999-2004. Part time now. '92 Hawkins, 360AH Lithium Battery, 1480 Watts PV solar.
