RE: Cummins 400 ISL
Exhaust Tube Replacement

I removed the existing tube, had a muffler shop weld A new Flange on the old tube added a heat shield, and replace. Just under $250 installed. Freightliner wanted $750 for the tube plus installation.

The replacement has been in use over a year, without an issue.

Sure makes it easier to find what you are looking for when you can see it from below.

I added a diverter valve and a shut off valve between the shower head and the shower supply pipe. This gives me the ability to divert the water to a separate line and also allows me to stop the flow of water all together without adjusting...

Our original Bedroom TV was located in the corner, above the washer/dryer. Watching it was uncomfortable because of the angle between the TV and the bed. I wanted to replace the old TV with an LED. My wife said can’t you line it up with the bed. After some thought I came up with my solution.

First I built a frame to match the existing cabinets. I then mounted a piece of 1/8” aluminum (painted black) to the back of the frame, which added strength to the frame. I installed the...
