Good morning, My name is don and i have a 2001 diplomat. I am going to do the Sheppard / TRW swap and was wondering if you have any other information that might make the swap a little easier. Anything. Would be appreciated.

    Thank you!

Hey I had the shepherd replaced with a trw but now it pulls to the right coouls this be from them not lining up/indexing the pitman arm correctly?

    Craig,
I have a '01 HR Endeavor 40pbd with a Sheppard M80PBV1 gearbox. I'm looking to swap to TRW but haven't found anyone with proper part number information. Can you point me in the right direction? Weller rebuilt my Sheppard box last year but still have the slop in the steering wheel.

Hi Have been reading about wandering problem with Monacos. We just purchased this 2004 Monaco LaPalma 37'. It's like new but you know-like being on ice at times and wanders. I've got alot of reading to do yet and we have to figure out when and who will help us. I'll need to know where we can get the parts when we're ready. I was reading your posts--Do you have a chevy? What do you have? I'm still around but am working also.

Craig, hope all is well with you. I followed your directions, with drag link on pitman arm. As you know, plenty of corrosion on the frame and steering gear. I don't know how you even got that broke loose at QZ when you adjusted! I worked the nut back out far enough to bottom the inside set screw down to bottom out, not much more than you had it, maybe 3/4' more than what you had set. Its as far as it will go, tighten the 3/4" nut back down. Did a test drive, my friend Tony drove it also, he thinks springs inside the steering box, that assist power steering in the box are weak. This causes slight lag if you call it that, +- 2" now. Driving you can actually feel the springs assist in steering. You would know more than I in this arena, what do you think? Is there a company by Coburg or trucking company, to replace steering box, pitman arm and drag link, the parts likely will need to be cut off the coach! Craig thanks again, you can call me if you want to chat. 708-580-5323.

Nice work on the box swap. I have a 2001 HR Imperial with excessive play and a Sheppard M100PLG32 box and I have just begun the collection of information to consider making the change over. Do you have any advice, suggestions?
    Thanks,
    Joe
